Defense Barriers (DB) Units consisting of 5+4+4 Cells connected together. Each cell of DB measuring 2.21m high, 2.13m wide and 27.74m length after installed and each Unit compromises 4 or 5 Cells together to form a structure 2.21m high 2.13m wide and 27.74m length .
Geotextile Color
The unit should be either Olive green or Tan Brown in colour .
HESCO barrier Lifetime:
The unit must be made of a Wire Mesh basket which is manufactured from galvanised coated, welded mesh. The mesh must be made of rust protected alloy materials.The Wire Mesh must have a guaranteed life of not less than 5 years while exposed to environment and 10 years when in store .
Wire diameter and mesh opening
The diameter of the wire used for the mesh must not be less than 4mm and each square in the mesh should be around 7cm x 7cm.(76.2*76.2mm)
Geotextile Cloth:
The mesh framed cell must have a cloth lining emplaced on the inner sides of the wall frame. The cloth lining allows the cell to retain a filling material such as sand or gravel or earth. The liner textile should be of heavy duty non-woven geotextile with a high UV resistance and fire inhibitor.The top textile cloth lining must be secured with rust protected staple material in at least two layers and bottom layer must also be secured with at least one layer of staple material .
Linking system
The linking materials e.g Joining pin, Hog ring, coil ring etc. must be made of same high tensile rust protected alloy materials of wire mesh.Linking system of DB should be flexible enough so that DB can be easily placed on any curved section of DB construction site .

Military Barriers Features :
Military Sand Wall can be built to any required length and to any height. The unique joining system allows the user great flexibility in configurations and requirements. One of the key advantages of the system is that any readily available infill material can be utilised. Sand, rubble, rocks, soil, concrete and even snow have been successfully used.
Rapid construction is another key feature of the product. A typical wall of units equivalent to approximately 1500 sandbags, can be erected and filled by two men and a single common loader in less than twenty minutes. An equivalent wall constructed of sandbags would take 10 men 7 hours to build.
